Lenten Season During Pandemic

          Lenten season is solemn religious event for catholic people like me. Its time to penetrate for your sins. It starts in ash Wednesday and ends with holy Saturday. We Christian people are celebrating it to observe a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, self-denial, and spiritual discipline. The last 2 Lenten season has not same as the traditional celebration because of pandemic

 

       

          During Pandemic many ways to celebrate it was invented so that we can feel the solemnity even we cannot go on the church. We can practice paying attention to God's presence in our lives even in our house. We can try communicate and pray with God in our home. Many of our Lenten practices, cannot be allowed during pandemic, but we need to accept it for our own safety. As new technology arrives, we can celebrate Lenten season online, thru broadcasting it. The true spirit of Lenten season is about forgiving others who wronged you. 

          Most important about Lenten season is about taking each day one at a time. Even during pandemic to many ways to celebrate it. Because lent is all about forgiving people who wronged you and giving thanks to creator.

               When the pandemic starts, children's right was left behind because of the new protocols. Children just stay at their home in pand e mic start. Children got addicted to the gadgets. They lack of outdoor activities and some are just lying in their bed. After 7 months of pandemic, children continue their classes but in their home. This is a hard type of learning to the children. Challenges and Response during Distance Learning

       Education is important to us Filipino because it is the main basis in finding a job. The Covid-19 Pandemic had make a huge impact in the economy, health care services, transportation, tourism and especially education. The education stopped at the middle of the month of March, year 2020 because Philippines had recorded the first case of Covid-19. Even students faces challenges, with the coordination of DepEd and Department of health, they made the continuations of classes successful by using Distance learning. When the classes stopped, students wait seven months before the opening of classes in School Year 2020-2021. According to rappler.com, a drop of 2,732,467(10 %) fewer learner in all grades compare to the previous school year.
