          The Battle of Bataan  was fought by the United States and the Philippine Commonwealth against Japan during World War II. The battle represented the most intense phase of the Japanese invasion of the Philippines during World War II. In January 1942, forces of the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy invaded Luzon  after the bombing of the American naval base at Pearl Harbor. The Day of Valor, officially known as “Araw ng Kagitingan”, is a national observance in the Philippines which commemorates the fall of Bataan to Japanese troops during World War II. It falls every April 9. We must celebrate this because it shows the  bravery of Filipinos during World War II. They use their brave to protect our country from the enemies.           Lenten season is solemn religious event for catholic people like me. Its time to penetrate for your sins. It starts in ash Wednesday and ends with holy Saturday. We Christian people are celebrating it to observe a period of fasting, repentance, moderation, self-denial, and spiritual discipline. The last 2 Lenten season has not same as the traditional celebration because of pandemic                     During Pandemic many ways to celebrate it was invented so that we can feel the solemnity even we cannot go on the church.             In the month of January to Febraury, Ilocos Sur is celebrating a festival called Kannawidan Festival. A festival in the Province of Ilocos Sur commemorating the separation of the two Ilocos provinces in 1818. This festival is a showcase of indigenous performances, religious rituals, as well cooking demos featuring the best of Ilocano dishes. Many people are going on it because of the shows, competitions and showcase of their products from their own town.           Many shows are seen when Kannawidan Festival begins. In the first day of the festival, fireworks display is shown to the people of Ilocos Sur as an entrance show. Comedy night, motor show, traditional games, and cooking show are some of the events that undergo in Kannawidan Festival. Saniata ti Ilocos Sur is one of the famous event in Kannawidan.           This second quarter I learned many lessons as an ICT student. Many lesson had teach to me by our teacher. In the first part of the 2nd quarter, we learn the parts of HTML and basic HTML tags. Every week, we make a draft for our blog to improve our blogging skill. As the time pass by, we tried to make HTML page. We learn many html tags either stand alone tags or paired tag. Giving font color,size, face and putting an image to an HTML page is my favorite lesson for this quarter.           This quarter there are also challenges and problems that I have encountered. Even the quarantine is lifted, some of the module is sent online, it hard to do it on phone or laptap because its hard to scroll just to see the lesson and task to be answered.           In the past year, many fiesta as has been cancelled or conduct online. Example of this is the Vigan City Fiesta Celebration. People can not enjoy the celebration because of the risk they can from the Covid 19 Virus. Even theres a risk spreading, we can make other ways to celebrate it.            Online is the best way to celebrate the Vigan City Fiesta this year. Some shows can be conducted thru online like livestreaming. Competition can conducted online using our social media like poster making song competition and poem making. We can gather online to celabrate the fiesta.                     Last year, it was not a best year for me. Many problems have came, not only me but for everyone because of the pandemic. Many plans is postponed and cancelled. For this new year, I want to see my self more productive again. This year I will try create more happy memories with my friend and relatives.             This year I wan my self to be productive. Learn new things in life. I will try to spend more time with my friends and family. Create memories and take a new hobby, skill and other interest. As a students I will be more   organized on my things and self. I will also volunteer more and be intermix with other people for me to grow. I want to be more healthier this year and make my body stronger. I want more improvement on me this year. I wish that this year the pandemic will be gone and back to our normal life.          Christmas is a special event for us because it the way we celebrate the birth of Jesus. Many people having fun when its christmas because there so many events that happen. Events like christmas party, christmas games and misa de gallo or simbang gabi. But christmas is never the same again when the COVID 19 pandemic started. Because of the protocols, events that were attending in christmas were cancelled like masses and christmas celebration.             Simbang gabi is a famous events during the christmas period. Misa de gallo is a nine day serues mass with great solemnity. When the COVID pandemic , churches was closed. Some have only limited seats when going to church.
